Adult (alumni) membership is open to anyone interested in supporting and advocating for FFA, agricultural education, agriculture or volunteerism through their gifts of time, talent, and financial resources. Go here for additional details.

How annual membership works

Each year, chapters pay a national fee (+ any additional state fees), which allows unlimited members to join without the financial barrier of individual dues.

Membership requests are subject to approval by the local FFA alumni leaders.

This membership must be renewed annually to remain active. The membership year begins Aug. 1 and ends July 31.
Follow these steps to request an annual membership:

Go to FFA.org and open the Dashboard drop-down menu

Select Alumni Members

Under Quick Access, click Register My Membership

Log in
If you are already logged in, this step may be skipped.

If you are logging in for the first time, you may need to complete your profile before continuing.

Complete the Register section

Select Alumni as the Member Type

Keep the default Membership Year (Recommended)

Choose your State

Find your Chapter in the list
If you don’t have a chapter, leave the Chapter field blank. We’ll add you to the state FFA Alumni and Supporters Association.

Select Annual as the Membership Type

Make sure your Personal Information is correct

Complete the Additional Information section

Click Submit Request

Your membership is now awaiting approval from your local FFA alumni leaders. Click the X in the green success message.

Check the status of your membership by selecting My Profile under Profiles
