Search for a chapter (active or inactive)

Before chartering a new chapter, it’s a good idea to check whether that chapter already exists and needs to be reactivated. The best way to do that is with the Chapter/State Profile Search tool.

  1. Open the Search drop-down menu (top of the page) and click Chapter/State Profile Search

  2. Select a Member Type (i.e., Student or Alumni)

  3. Select a State

  4. Choose Chapter as the Profile Type

  5. Clear the Is Active filter to search all active and inactive chapters

  6. Click Search

  7. Review the results and check the chapter’s status in the “Is Active” column

Add more filters in the Search area to narrow your results (e.g., enter a partial chapter name.)

If you find the desired chapter and it is inactive, click its name to start the reactivation process.

  1. Go to FFA.org and open the Dashboard drop-down menu

  2. Select a role (e.g., Alumni Members, State Staff, Alumni State Staff, etc.)

  3. Under Quick Access, click Chapter/State Profile Search

If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in.
