Before chartering a new chapter, it’s a good idea to check whether that chapter already exists and needs to be reactivated. The best way to do that is with the Chapter/State Profile Search tool.
-
Open the Search drop-down menu (top of the page) and click Chapter/State Profile Search
-
Select a Member Type (i.e., Student or Alumni)
-
Select a State
-
Choose Chapter as the Profile Type
-
Clear the Is Active filter to search all active and inactive chapters
-
Click Search
-
Review the results and check the chapter’s status in the “Is Active” column
Add more filters in the Search area to narrow your results (e.g., enter a partial chapter name.)
If you find the desired chapter and it is inactive, click its name to start the reactivation process.
Alternate path to Chapter/State Profile Search
-
Go to FFA.org and open the Dashboard drop-down menu
-
Select a role (e.g., Alumni Members, State Staff, Alumni State Staff, etc.)
-
Under Quick Access, click Chapter/State Profile Search
