[State Leader] Activate expired chapter leader roles

State leaders can expire existing roles and activate expired roles for chapter leaders (i.e., teachers/advisors and/or alumni leaders).

Begin in the Roster System under Manage Chapter Leadership.

Use Search to locate the expired chapter leader role(s).

  1. Select Teacher/Advisor or Alumni Leader – The default is Teacher/Advisor unless you only have Alumni responsibilities
  2. Click to open the Chapter drop-down menu
  3. Select a Chapter
  4. In Advanced Search, click to clear the Role Status field
  5. Click to open the Role Status drop-down menu
  6. Select Expired
  7. Click Search
Tip

If your search does not produce the desired results, use the Advanced Search filters to narrow or expand your search parameters.

Activate Chapter Leader Role(s)

With the expired chapter leader roles identified, you can now activate role(s).

Activate a single Chapter Leader role:

  1. Click the  for a specific chapter leader role
  2. Click OK to approve the action

Watch for a green success message at the top of the screen.

Activate multiple Chapter Leader roles:

  1. Select Chapter Leader roles to activate by one of the following methods:
    • Select checkboxes to activate one or more chapter leader role(s)
    • Click the top-left checkbox to activate all chapter leader roles on the current page
  2. Enter a From Date – The default is the current date
  3. Click Activate Role(s)
  4. Click OK to approve the action
Watch for a green success message at the top of the screen.
Important

Reset your Search to view the activated chapter leader role(s).

For historical purposes, a record of the expired role will remain.
