[State Leader] View FFA.org usernames and generate temporary passwords for chapter leaders

State leaders can view usernames and generate temporary passwords to help chapter leaders log in to FFA.org.
Warning

For security purposes, temporary passwords expire within 10 minutes.

Begin in the Roster System in the Manage Chapter Leadership menu.

View chapter leader usernames

Use Search to locate the chapter leader(s) and then switch to the Leader Login Info to view the FFA.org Username column.
  1. Select Teacher/Advisor or Alumni Leader – The default is Teacher/Advisor unless you only have Alumni responsibilities
  2. Click the to open the Chapter drop-down menu
  3. Select a Chapter
  4. Click Search
  5. Click the  for Leader Login Info to switch to the Leader Login Info view  – The default view is Chapter Leaders
Tip

If your search does not produce the desired results, use the Advanced Search filters to narrow or expand your search parameters.

Generate temporary password for a chapter leader

While in the Leader Login Info view, you can generate a temporary password.
  1. Click thefor a specific chapter leader – A Temporary Password will be generated
  2. Watch for a green success message at the top of the screen and view the Temporary Password
  3. Give the chapter leader their FFA.org Username and Temporary Password to login to FFA.org
After logging in with the temporary password, the chapter leader will be required to reset their password
Important

Currently, temporary passwords are not being emailed to chapter leaders.
