Many FFA applications require logging in to an FFA.org account linked to your membership profile. Are you logging in to the right account? Here’s how to check.
Where to start
-
Go to FFA.org
-
At the top, click Dashboard
-
Select the option that best applies (e.g., Student Members, Alumni Members, etc.)
-
Under Quick Access, select Manage My Profile
If you are not logged in to FFA.org, you will be prompted to log in.
View your roles and memberships
Once logged in, you should be able to see your current memberships in the Overview section or Membership History section (left-hand menu).
Important!
If you do not see any current roles or memberships, you are logged in to an account that does not have any active roles or memberships. As a result, under this account you will not be eligible to access or apply/register for the following:
-
Application Center (e.g., Agricultural Proficiency Awards, Agriscience Fair, American FFA Degree, American Star, local and state awards/degrees, National Chapter, etc.)
-
WLC and other select conferences
-
SAE grant and other select grants
-
Band, Chorus and Talent
-
Scholarships specifically for FFA members
What to look for in the Overview section
Only current year and previous year (last year) memberships appear in the Overview section for each applicable member type (student and alumni). All years of membership can be found in the Membership History section (left-hand menu).
-
See if there are any current roles and memberships
-
Pay attention to the membership type (e.g., One Year, Three Year, Four Year, etc.) – Ag Ed Only does not qualify for most applications
-
Look at the membership year (e.g., 2021-2022, 2020-2021, etc.) – Some applications require a membership for the current year
You cannot access the Application Center if you do not have a Local Approved membership for the current year.
-
Check the approval status (i.e., Pending Approval, Local Approved, State Approved and National Approved)
You cannot access the Application Center if your current membership is Pending Approval. Pending Approval means your local teacher/advisor needs to approve your membership.
-
Verify the expiration date – Select applications are still available without a membership for the current year
What if no roles and memberships are found?
If you don’t see any roles and memberships in the Overview or Membership History section, you are logged in to a general, nonmember FFA.org account. At this point, you cannot link your nonmember FFA.org login to your membership profile. That can only be done during the sign-up process. As a result, you will need to create a new FFA.org login via the sign-up process and be sure to enter your FFA ID and/or Invite Code.
-
If you have your FFA ID or Invite Code, review these instructions and complete the sign-up process
-
You will not be able to use the same email address for your new login. If you need to use the same email address, we can assist you after you complete the Membership/Login Help Form.
-
If you do not know your FFA ID or Invite Code, contact your local teacher/advisor. Or, we can assist you after you complete the Membership/Login Help Form.
What if all your memberships are expired or you are missing memberships?
If all your memberships are expired or you are missing memberships, you may have multiple membership profiles. Contact your local teacher/advisor for assistance.
