Whether you’re starting a new chapter or breathing new life into an old one, both scenarios require the same application. This article details how to complete the application. However, the method you use to access it will vary depending on the process you choose.

Add the School Information and Physical Address
The physical address of the school is utilized for the Chapter Locator.

Enter the Chapter Information

The chapter name must end in “FFA“.

If Middle School is chosen as the program type, the chapter name must end with “Middle FFA.”

The district option may not be available for all states.

Add the Mailing, Billing and Shipping addresses

Mailing – for regular mail (e.g., PO box or physical address)

Billing – for invoices (e.g., PO box or physical address)

Shipping – physical address for orders

Add the Chapter Name to be used on the official jacket and national awards/certificates

The Chapter Name Lines must be in uppercase, with the following exceptions: lowercase a, c, e, o, u, d, period (.), single quote (‘), and grave accent (`).

Do not include FFA.

If available, select an option for Chapter Affiliation or Middle School Flat Fee
The options available depend on the affiliation and middle school flat fees preferences in your state profile.
If no options are presented, the state is either:

100% affiliated and does not allow the middle school flat fee

Or does not allow affiliation or middle school flat fee.
Example 1 – State is not 100% affiliated and allows chapter affiliation/middle school flat fee
Example 2 – State is 100% affiliated and DOES NOT allow middle school flat fee
Example 3 – State is 100% affiliated and allows middle school flat fee

Add the Teacher/Advisor Information for one individual
This option is not available in Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, and Texas.
This advisor will receive an email inviting them to request administrative access to the chapter after the process is complete.

Enter the Billing Contact Information for one individual
The Billing Contact is the person who should receive invoices from National FFA.
If more than one person needs to receive invoices, you can add multiple email addresses by separating them with a semicolon. The max character limit is 80, including spaces.
Group email addresses are also acceptable (e.g., accountspayable@arlee.k12.mt.us). You can use an existing group email address or create a new one.
